Asheville – Back The Blue NC will host a vehicle procession Saturday, September 26, 2020 in downtown Asheville.

This is their first event since being officially “Incorporated” in NC.

Like all Back The Blue NC events, this will be a non-partisan rally to show support for local law enforcement.

The event will begin with the gathering of all participants and their vehicles at 9am at the Asheville Mall parking lot (off Brackettown Rd. behind David’s Bridal). The procession will begin at 10 am after a brief explanation about the route and a prayer.

The procession of vehicles will go from Brackettown Rd. to Tunnel Rd. (Tunnel turns into College St.) and continue on College St. into downtown Asheville.

All vehicles will follow College St and loop to Patton Ave and return to the Asheville Mall parking lot.

All attendees are encouraged to decorate their vehicles with flags of support as well as signs. Wearing your “Back The Blue” and Patriotic attire is also encouraged.

The first Back The Blue vehicle event in Asheville saw over 600 vehicles and they are expecting to surpass that with this event.

The total distance of the procession from start to finish is 3.5 miles and look forward to having more than 3.5 miles of vehicles.

The organization would like to continue to show all the men, women and families of law enforcement that they are supported, appreciated and defended by their communities.
